What we collect

When you submit our quote request form, we collect:

• Your full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Postcode
• Approximate monthly energy bill
• Property type
• Your consent to be contacted
• The page you submitted from and the time of submission

Why we collect it

We use your information to prepare a solar, battery or heat pump quotation and to contact you about your enquiry by phone, email, SMS or WhatsApp. We pass your details to our MCS-certified installation partner so they can carry out a survey and prepare your quote.

Lawful basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent checkbox on our quote form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at info@scottishenergyefficiency.co.uk or by calling 0141 230 0198.

Who receives your data

• Scottish Energy Efficiency — the parent brand that operates this service.
• Our MCS-certified installation partner — who carries out surveys and installations.
• Zapier Inc. — acts as a data processor to route your form submission securely to us.
• Google — Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are used only after you have given cookie consent (see our cookie policy).

How long we keep it

We retain your personal data for 24 months from the date of your last contact with us, unless an installation contract follows, in which case the installation partner's retention policy applies to their records.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Ask us to erase your data
• Object to our processing of your data
